Jerôme Bloch defines himself as a pragmatic dreamer – a passionate man who likes to try his hand at everything. He enjoys passing his time imagining exhilarating projects, but needs to put them into motion to feel fulfilled.

10 years in the open air

From his first job – he is still a golf pro - Jérôme has maintained a philosophy that the constant observation of nature has bestowed upon him. The perpetually changing seasons, climatic uncertainties and the violence of predators have brought him an understanding of everyday life, a combination of optimism and fatalism: life is short, you might as well seize each moment and take some risks.

High on emotions

He compares his life to a piano string: it must vibrate to resonate. A golf pro by vocation, he soon diversified into organising company events. He created Business Golf Solutions in 1999 and established it as a European leader through innovation and common sense. In 2005, he launched "Andy à Paris" magazine and repeated his feat in 2006 with "Andy in Luxembourg". MyOfficialStory followed in the pipeline. His activities are complementary: they fit together like Russian dolls and satisfy his need for a challenge and thrills.

Life on tour

His most amazing expedition remains an eventful three-month road trip around the United States in 1994 where he met the best pros: Hank Haney, Mike Hebron, David Leadbetter, etc. He also managed to gain employment during the British Open and always finds a way to combine work, travel and encounters. He has played in golf tournaments as far afield as Arizona; Business Golf Solutions have worked in New York; Andy sent him to Hong Kong. He particularly enjoys city trips when travelling for personal reasons: Barcelona, Berlin, Florence, etc.

Creative passion

Serial entrepreneur for some, workaholic for others, Jérôme is happy to let his creative energies flow. During his free time he alternates between phases of contemplation, family activities and creative leisure pursuits. Everything interests him - above all, other people’s passions.
